Güler and Mbappé each delivered masterclass performances in a dominant 4–0 pre-season win:
Thibaut Courtois – 7
Had virtually nothing to do, but was composed when called upon.
Trent Alexander-Arnold – 7.5
Still working toward full sharpness, which is understandable at this stage. Produced a brilliant defense-splitting pass to Brahim in the first half and combined nicely with Arda Güler. Passing overall can still improve.
Éder Militão – 8.5
Looked assured throughout. Took his goal well and was confident bringing the ball out from the back.
Dean Huijsen – 9
Outstanding distribution — completed 13 long balls, some reminiscent of Toni Kroos at his best.
Álvaro Carreras – 8.5
Impressive in his first start. Defensively solid and contributed in attack — a very well-rounded performance.
Arda Güler – 9.5 (Managing Madrid’s Joint Player of the Match)
Unplayable at times. Extremely smooth in tight spaces, struck the crossbar twice, created two big chances, and registered an assist.
Aurélien Tchouaméni – 8.5
Composed in possession and produced a crucial sliding tackle in the box during the first half.
Dani Ceballos – 7.5
Quiet but effective. Completed 95% of his passes, pressed well, and anticipated passing lanes intelligently.
Brahim Díaz – 7
Made intelligent runs into space but lacked sharpness with his final product.
Kylian Mbappé – 9.5 (Joint Player of the Match)
A constant menace. Scored twice with clinical finishes and delivered a smart assist to Rodrygo.
Vinícius Júnior – 7
Worked hard defensively, but still adjusting to Xabi Alonso’s quicker, one-touch style.
